The Canadian Privacy Institute offers information, tools and education alternatives to help meet the practical challenges of the privacy and security of information.

A private organization, the Institute is an information resource to all organizations conducting business in Canada. The services we provide include:

•  Latest books available on Canadian Privacy;
•  Information materials, both hard copy and via the web;
•  Education sessions of various descriptions and length;
•  Forums to discuss methods of complying with Canadian Privacy laws, and on tools required to make compliance more effective and efficient;
•  Consulting to organizations about their degree of readiness to comply with PIPEDA and/or provincial legislation, and,
•  Research on Privacy law in Canada and throughout the world.

The Institute is not a college or university but are in discussions with some higher education institutions to work with them to integrate information about the privacy and security of information into their various course curriculums.
